Ken Taylor N.Z.C.D.(Arch) L.B.P.(Design 2) M.D.A.N.Z. started Designshop Architecture in 1989. Ken was one of the first in New Zealand to use computer assisted design for architecture. He has many years experience in conceptual design, contract documentation, project management, and "hands on" site construction experience across a variety of project types and sizes. He has obtained various awards for his work. Add in skills in graphic design, videography and photography, and you have a balance of design and practical skills not often found today.
Designshop handles new projects, alterations/additions, and a variety of project sizes and complexities, throughout the South Island and lower North Island, including:
* Residences, Apartments, Retirement Villages, Hotels, Motels.
* Industrial, Commercial, and Retail Buildings.
* Bars and restaurants.
* Aviation and Search/Rescue facilities.
* Churches, Preschool Facilities.
Ken also has experience designing museums, hospitals, schools, sports and cultural Buildings.
